Eric is on his second tour with The Cheap Shots, having stepped away for a year while his wife battled - and beat - breast cancer. Now back in full force, he's behind a newly-designed drum kit that incorporates both traditional and electronic features, a souped-up version of his standard, iconic 2005 Pearl Reference Series setup. Eric is always evolving, from his beginnings in high school with a heavy metal band to the wide-ranging set list mix The Cheap Shots brings to every show. That's why he's so versatile, calling on techniques picked up from influencers like Alex Van Halen (of course), Stewart Copeland and Keith Moon. When he's not playing with The Cheap Shots, Eric is likely pulling snakes from his lawn (long story) or chasing his pug, Toby, down the street.
